Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus-Hilliard

Really enjoyed my stay, room was comfortable and quiet. Updated room, the 2 room suite was nice as I’m an early riser and my friend likes to sleep later so having the separation and the two tvs was nice in the morning. Also first time I’ve had a full size refrigerator with an ice maker and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. If I’m ever in the area, I’d definitely be back.

Our room was so clean and comfy! I could not believe how clean and set it was. It was so nice going to a hotel and just having everything you need and could want at hand. The pool was good for the kids. Appeared to be a good area :) Breakfast was good and coffee was hot! Workers were great. I don't have a bad thing to say. :) If we stay in Columbus again I will be going here!

The rooms were clean. The king suite was well appointed including a full kitchen with all the utensils for a family. We enjoyed the private bedroom with TV and the second TV with the sleeper sofa. The furniture needs updating. It is really worn, but appears clean. The lighting was perfect, and we really appreciated the ceiling fan over the bed. Nice touch adding the switch to control the fan and the lighting. Loved the attention to charge all devices! The pet area in the lobby was so nice and had everything pet lovers would need. The coffee and tea station was well appointed with to-go cups and ceramic cups while there. First class! The free breakfast was Perfect! I would suggest extending the time for another hour. The pool was great. Clean and warm. Would appreciate a hot tub for the adults.

Stayed here recently for a wedding. Met James at the front desk, who helped me check-in, and gave me a great recommendation for a nearby spot where I could kill some time on Friday. Right off the highway so good options for food and stuff, just not super walkable.

Great location. Super friendly check in clerk, they just radiated kindness. It is pet friendly but I would never have known if not for the thoughtful display of amenities for them in the lobby. No signs of pet hair or odors whatsoever. Our first floor room was very quiet, we didn’t hear a sound from the hallway or neighboring rooms. The pool looked nice. The thermometer was very responsive. We woke up chilly but the room heated up immediately after making an adjustment. There was a decent selection at the continental breakfast. Plenty of spaced out seating. We sat in front of the fireplace with the Christmas tree in view, it was very pleasant.

Pros: The location, hotel and staff were very nice and friendly. Cons: Gym is very very tiny, we went to Crunch fitness which was 5 min walk away from the hotel. Rooms were clean but I still managed to step on a cut-off toe nail from someone else which was pretty disgusting.

I’ll be honest I was a little nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews but after getting checked in I’m not quite sure what these bad reviews are about, but I’m guessing you know how people are they like to complain about any little thing they can…. The staff was friendly at check-in. The room is clean and comfortable. Don’t really have any complaints thus far. If there are any issues during my stay, I will of course update this review. Edit. So I did have one minor issue regarding housekeeping however, a barber at the front desk was great and helping me resolve this issue and she had got me in contact with the manager who has been nothing but friendly and helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever received this much outreach or an attempt to satisfy my needs as a customer. Incredibly professional service.
